the job

The official job description starts with "The Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for identifying, designing, planning, testing, delivering, monitoring and enhancing cross-channels marketing campaigns in line with business objectives." You don't understand a thing? That's cool, no worries. Basically the idea is that we have major clients who trust us and our technology to execute their digital marketing campaigns. So far so good? Ok, the marketing campaign manager is the one actually in charge of designing what we do, planning when we do it, testing how to do it, delivering on time, monitoring that all goes smoothly (it never does…) and improving the cross-channel marketing campaigns through learning from past experience, in line with business objectives (it's half about fame, half about business).

In a tweet, "it's a very exciting job, that requires #creativity, #innovation & great #writing skills, currently based in #Athens but the world is ours!" Check out the full job description (Attention, corporate explicit language!): click here

the challenge

First of all, don't get scared. It’s not a psychometric or an IQ test. We're just looking to find the right people for this very demanding and highly strategic position. That's why we came up with this test: the idea is to objectively evaluate how good of a fit you are. We're not just looking at hiring the most impressive CVs, we're actually much more interested in hiring people with the right skills (independently of what they've done before). If you accept the challenge, you'll be facing various aspects of the job through a series of short missions.

Having a top score at "Angry Birds" will not help, but respect if you’re in the worldwide top 100.

the quidelines

  • There are seven missions.
  • Each mission has a specific time limit, at the end of which you will be automatically moved on to the next one.
  • You can move on to the next mission whenever you want before time expires.
  • Once you've started, there is no way back, you cannot save or pause or go back or whatever else your sick mind can think of.
  • For your score to be registered, you need to go through all seven missions.
  • You can only participate once - please don't try to do this more than once. We will know. And call the police.
  • At the end of each mission and at the end of the entire challenge, you will not get your score or any feedback about your number of correct answers.
  • If you face any technical issues, please send us an e-mail at thechallenge@upstreamsystems.com. (We do not accept CVs at this address.)
  • Last but not least, you can use the Internet throughout the test, that's more than cool with us.

Are you ready to dazzle us with your capabilities and blow our minds with your outstanding performance?
